so this Friday…

is the next time the legal team is meeting.  This is the postponed meeting from December.

It’s possible the team will either: (A) agree to file paperwork to get a TPR (termination of parental rights) hearing scheduled or (B) yet again grant another extension.

If (A):

  • the hearing will likely be 4-6 months down the road
  • the hearing could be postponed or cancelled at any time if the bio parents make certain progress

If (B):

  • the team would meet again in 30-45 days and evaluate if they have enough evidence to file TPR paperwork

For the sake of big brother and little sister our prayer is that whatever long-term plan is going to happen that it happen without delay.  A child deserves to grow up in a stable home.

Wanting to share that foster care adoption is the most affordable way to adopt with a financial cost of $0-$2,500, she wrote a book and started a podcast both called "The Forgotten Adoption Option" to find more forever families.
